How to sneak alcohol on a cruise
Planning on going on a cruise sometime soon? If so you’ve probably been looking at your budget and wondering how much you’re going to have to allow for alcoholic drinks.
Once you’ve ventured down that road you’re probably realizing it’s going to be a pretty expensive part of your trip and likely cut into your on shore excursions or even one of your relaxing massages heaven forbid!
This is a natural progression that most people go through. The next step is figuring out how to sneak alcohol on a cruise. There are a multitude of ideas online including videos of people royally screwing it up by trying to rinse out shampoo bottles and hiding alcohol inside resulting in a soapy tasting concoction no one but a desperate alcoholic would want to drink.
Sneaking alcohol onto a cruise
Here at Camo Caps we’ve been down this road as well. Most people aren’t rich so when going on a vacation a proper allocation of funds is a necessity. My first cruise I researched how to sneak alcohol on a cruise, got frustrated with the lack of good products to do so and just threw some full bottles of liquor in my luggage and kept my fingers crossed it wouldn’t get taken out while going through security. Luckily this worked but it was a bit nerve racking so I decided to have a more well thought out method the next time.
This is how Camo Caps were born and why they’re such a great product for anyone looking for how to smuggle alcohol on a cruise. On my second trip I realized water bottles had a lot of potential as cruise lines like Carnival would allow you to bring them on board as long as they’re “factory sealed”.
I tried following the steps in some videos by boiling them off but it was frustrating and ended up costing me a ton in screwed up water bottles. Despite the cost and annoyance I was successful in bringing on a six pack of water bottles filled with 6 liters of vodka, gin and rum.
I realized after that cruise I wasn’t alone in my quest for how to bring alcohol on a cruise and decided to start Camo Caps by buying caps from the manufacturer in bulk and selling them to people like myself who wanted to save a few buck.
4 years later and 150,000 caps later I’d say the proof is in the pudding that it works. Save yourself some time and effort and learn from our customers that have been successful time after time in sneaking alcohol on a boat.
Here’s how Camo Caps work. Buy some Aquafina 20oz or 1 liter water bottles and remove the entire cap including the seal that stays on the bottle. Once removed do what you will with the water (you might think about hydrating and drinking all that water cause you’re going to need it).
Once the water is removed grab a funnel and pour in your favorite clear liquor to the same level the water was at. Pop on a Camo Cap and screw down tight. You now have what looks like a water bottle but is instead a money saving, extra massage getting, jet ski riding bottle of fun!
All that’s left is to pack in your checked luggage (never your carry on as you’re just adding more risk to the endeavor) and get on that boat. It’s literally that easy!
